If you want to get a professional job, consider these recommendations:

  • Don't rush to finish. Plan your day with plenty of time. If you start with the idea of ending up in your head soon, it won't do you any good. Be meticulous and let each layer dry patiently.
  • Do not choose a day that is too hot or too wet. They're not good partners.
  • Fully empty the space where you're going to paint. They always end up dropping drops of paint that are then very difficult or impossible to remove depending on the surface.
  • Clean the surface of what you're going to paint well.
  • Choose the right paint and quality.
  • Use quality material: brushes and rollers.
  • Make sure that the room where you are going to paint has good lighting. It will help you to see better the tone it is taking and the small spaces where you have not been able to paint correctly.
  • You must have good ventilation. Breathing paint is not good for our health.
  • Use painter's tape. It has happened to all of us that the first time we didn't use it because we thought we wouldn't need it. It's really necessary.
  • Paint from top to bottom. It's the best way.
  • Use thin layers of paint and let them dry. You don't want to end up using layers with a lot of paint.
  • Allow it to dry completely before filling the room with furniture.

I don't know if I left anything in the inkwell. If so, leave me a comment. Oh, thank you.
